Did not perform as advertised
I bought this thinking it would last longer than the smaller cartridge. I got less than 30 printed pages. Office Jet Pro 8500 constantly is cleaning the printheads, etc. using up ink as if it were water.

Had a little trouble setting up on my I Mac but I installed manually, works great ! The 123 HP site would not download the software, it walked me thru the process ok, but maybe not for mac os ? Other than that it works great and prints OK .

Poor
Ink cartridges drain and empty long before their expiration dates, especially the magenta. Too expensive. Will give up on HP printers and ink.

HP 940 Rainbow Ink Pak
I would have liked all ink cartridges to come in the XL size but as it is only the Black Cartridge comes in this size. I am still using these ink cartridges.

It's ink for heavens sake....I purchase it every time I am out.It is the same brand as the printer...and it works...go figure.What's not to like? It could be less expensive, but hey, I get points for returns and I like Staples. Except for doing reviews.
