closer to "opaque"
While technically "translucent," it is more opaque than clear. I was hoping to be able to see through it enough that you could a document on the other side. However, the addition of the rulers on the edges is a nice touch. Not sure why I couldn't find any colors by this brand other than the cobalt blue...
