Disappointed.
Plugged in my new lamp in my office and the bulb that came in the box (60w) was flickering and got extremely hot. I brought in a 40w and the same. Purchased new 40w elongated bulbs specifically for bankers lamps..... still flickering. Unfortunately, I had thrown away the packaging so I feel stuck with a lamp that overheats and flickers. Lesson learned.

Too bright
Nice looking lamp but the glare from the light bulb is offensive to the eye.

Desk Lamp
Poor quality. Sharp exposed metal at base can damage wooden desk surface. Pad at base of lamp does not cover exposed metal and is crumpled. Threaded connection does not fully seat. Lamp shade is not opaque enough and does not shade glare from bulb.

If by oil rubbed bronze the manufacturer means oil rubbed plastic and other materials made to look like oil rubbed bronze from afar...then this is a spot on description. This lamps works well and looks good unless you get close to realize it is really a cheap knockoff. I wish I was patient and returned it right away but needed a lamp and this one is fine if you don't lo...

Nice however,
I like the fact that it has an amber shade and that it is adjustable. However, the base does not seem as though it is heavy enough for the shade and the shade does not screw tightly to the base.
The cord is pulled all the way through, and it seems to be threaded properly. Perhaps the screw is not long enough to secure the shade more properly.

Love the style
The socket is slightly loose. If turned far enough to be snug,the chain is not in the proper position to pull down. Otherwise the lamp is very nice.

Great Table Lamp
It is classy, very traditional looking lamp. Love the little chain that I pull to turn it on. The shade is beautiful. It came in extensive wrapping and was easy to assemble. The look is just amazing.
