Simple, nice and sturdy, just can’t Knock it over, and it actually provides lots of light for desk top work.

Disappointed.
Plugged in my new lamp in my office and the bulb that came in the box (60w) was flickering and got extremely hot. I brought in a 40w and the same. Purchased new 40w elongated bulbs specifically for bankers lamps..... still flickering. Unfortunately, I had thrown away the packaging so I feel stuck with a lamp that overheats and flickers. Lesson learned.

Very authentic
A bit of a struggle to get cord in the right place. But the weight is good. Feels really solid and stable. Works best with a long tube LED.

There were scuffs on the glass shade that could not be removed with glass cleaner or rubbing alcohol -- they appear to be permanent blemishes in the surface "frosting."
The bottom of the base is not completely flat, meaning that the top-heavy lamp rocks back and forth slightly when placed on a level surface.

Very Cool
I painted over the orange accent with bronze, makes it look more antique. It's a nice lamp, easy to put together and the glass shade is lovely. I feel like this was a good purchase, and I am pleased that I bought it.

Great Desk Lamp
This desk lamp is exactly what I was looking for. It was easy to put together, looks nice and is a good size. The bulb that came with it was actually too bright for what I needed, so I replaced with a smaller one. Perfect! Love the golden glow.
