These #4 coffee filters are perfect for my coffee maker. I was using the brown paper #4 cones before and I had to fold them to fit. They were thin and would not hold their shape which made the sides fall and grounds got into my coffee. These filters are too small and not thick enough to hold the coffee grains properly. Could be messy.
