I am so disappointed in the quality of the sprinter and the cost of the ink which only lasts two weeks. I went to Staples and spoke to an employee. They recommended this printer and it was the worst purchase I have ever made.

Hp ink expensive
I buy this ink because it does not jam up the printer. I find it crazy expensive and am would love to find something less expensive. I have been turning in empty ink cartridges for years and I still can not figure out how to receive the “reward “. Overall this is a great product but I wish there was a more economic way to print.

Hi Joyce Your sentiment is common. Our printers do require both black and color cartridges. If you want to save money on the cartridges there are a few ideas. First turn off the color cartridges by selecting the black ink option. Decreasing the print quality will allow the cartridges to last longer. I would also consider only purchasing the XL versions. I was sold a cartridge that expired 3 years ago and wasted half an hour on the phone with HP tech support before we found out the problem

Prices Ridiculous!!!
It must be the sign of the times...but my thoughts are the price was outlandish and I am actively seeking a resource to get these cartridges refilled!!!!
