I am so disappointed in the quality of the sprinter and the cost of the ink which only lasts two weeks. I went to Staples and spoke to an employee. They recommended this printer and it was the worst purchase I have ever made.

Individual cartridges great
Individual cartridges are fine if you use one color more often than others but even the extra large ones don't seem to last as long.

The XL is the way to go.
If you are going to purchase any HP ink the XL products are the best. They last a really long time even if you put your printed on Black only. I have had HP printers since they day I started working and find using HP ink is superior to everything out there. No waste your time or money trying to fill the cartridge its messy and gets all over your printer and paper. The ...

HP 933XL
Magenta is a beautiful color and very bright color. doesn't last long when uses. We use this color with other colors as well.

HP 932XL high yield ink catridge
I have owned or used Multiple HP printers over the years in addition to a variety of competitive printers. I have a high regard for the current HP ink cartridges such as a black 932XL. I use all the available color cartridges as well.

This color is very dark at the being but also can print very light. Great color in the over all.

Good product but overpriced
Everyone knows that the printers are sold cheap so that you are hooked on purchasing the overpriced ink or toner cartidges. Other than the price the HP cartridges are a good product easy to put in and out my printer accepts them and the XL version makes for a little better cost.

great product
Easy to take out the old and easier to put in a new cartridge. It's good for about 960 pages. The color is outstanding and HP is amazing. Staples takes care of it's clients buy making sure we are all happy. Try using them its free delivery and their prices will not be beat.

best for hp printers
I have tried other cheaper off brand inks and they don't measure up to HP ink. I have even tried the refill route and it was worse. So original HP ink is the best even though it costs more you save. I like being able to refill each color as it runs out instead of having the old triple color cartridge and wasting ink if they ran out of one color.
