I am so disappointed in the quality of the sprinter and the cost of the ink which only lasts two weeks. I went to Staples and spoke to an employee. They recommended this printer and it was the worst purchase I have ever made.

Great Price
To get my printer running I had to replace the Yellow ink cartridge. I looked on line and Staples had the best price as well as curb side pickup. Thanks for your service Staples.

This black ink cartridge and it colored partners is a terrible product. These cartridges fail if they are not used for a period. When one fails (e.g. yellow) the printer won't even print in just black. I would never buy an HP printer that uses these again.

Multi pack HP ink
Staples is the only place that I can get a multi pack of the ink I need at a reasonable price.

HP 933
I purchased the HP 933 toner and when i plugged it in it said it was not genuine HP. i continued to use it and it ran out in 2 days. i think this was a bad product. I purchased new cartridges and they seem to be fine.

Hardly ever use colors but they run out quickly.
Interesting that the color cartridges all deplete at the same time.

Hi,
It does seem odd, but there is a probable explanation. This is more likely if you are not using the colors often, and are leaving the printer on most of the time.
The tiny inkjets inside the printer can clog easily if ink does not pass through them regularly. That can lead to bad prints and could even ruin the printhead. To keep everything working efficiently, there is a maintenance routine that is run periodically. Any inkjets that haven't been used for a while are cleared with a drop of ink.
Over time, the drops will add up. You can save ink by shutting the printer down between uses.
It is very important to always use the power button on the printer itself to turn it off. That gives it time to ‘park’ so that the cartridges are protected from excessive drying.
