I am so disappointed in the quality of the sprinter and the cost of the ink which only lasts two weeks. I went to Staples and spoke to an employee. They recommended this printer and it was the worst purchase I have ever made.

Black Ink Cartridge
This cartridge is easy to install and seems to last a long time.

THE XL CARTRIDGES DON'T LAST LONG
The HP Officejet 6700 will not operate unless all of the color and black cartridges have ink. It doesn't have an override to print with black only so you have to have spare color on hand just to print B&W copies. hp is always reliable
The ink from hp is always easy to insert and have been very reliable. I have always preferred HP printers; never any problems.

I NEVER use colored ink, print black only. Nevertheless, Printer told me magenta ink was empty and therefore I was unable to print ANYTHING, not even given the option of black ink only. Works fine.
I love my HP 6700. With the different cartridges you only need to purchase one at a time. The only issue: sometimes it will not notify you the cartridge needs replacing. It reachs a point where it will not print even if you choose black ink only. Another issue it will tell you you need a cyan cartridge I go out and purchase it. Great product but costs too much.
I go through the value back (4 cartridges) atleast once a month maybe more. It is priced out of this world. We either need a price break or more ink in the cartridge.

INK DOES NOT LAST LONG ENOUGH!
PRINT QUALITY IS GOOD BUT I ONLY AM ABLE TO PRINT ABOUT 30-40 PAGES AT MOST BEFORE THE CARTRIDGE EMPTIES AND I ONLY PRINT BASIC TEXT WITH MINIMUM GRAPHICS I DON'T GET ANYWHERE CLOSE TO THE ADVERTISED AMOUNT OF PAGES ONE SHOULD BE ABLE TO PRINT. Staples Helps
The HP ink jet printers are wonderfully affordable superior products except for the ink cartridge replacement costs which are exorbitant. Staples does help to bring the costs down a little with the empty return rewards. Otherwise using the HP 933XL also does a lot to help bring down the cost versus the HP 933 Yellow Ink Cartridge. Printer does not recognize cartridge
The 933XL cartridge is not recognized by my HP 7110 wide format printer. It did when I first bought it back in December 2013. At that time the cartridges ran out of ink after fewer than 20 13" x 19" prints.
