Rings won’t close after just 2 weeks
The close and lock mechanism is flimsy and poorly designed. Labeled as a “heavy duty binder,” the ring lock mechanism failed after 2 weeks of use. The ring closest to the lock tab will no longer close, and many papers have been torn. I paid full price for the binder plus shipping; nearly $20 for something that lasted 2 weeks is unacceptable.

OK, but not great
I use 3 ring binders all the time and these are the best I have found. That said, they prongs often don't line up when they are closed, making turning pages difficult. I find this incredibly frustrating.

NOT Hvy Duty At All
I don't know what's going on.... But These Are NOT Hvy Duty. Cover was creased in shipping.... D-Ring dents can be seen through the front side of the cover. Is Everyone just cheapening out on materials? I'm putting binders together for the Lifetime of a Facility.... If I did Not Live 3-6 hrs away from a Staples... These would be going back... Excellent binder by Avery
I love this binder. It is so well made in every aspect. The outer clear vinyl sleeve has a slight alligator finish which cuts glare and gives your cover a nice presentation. I highly recommend this.

Not Heavy Duty
The construction of this product is NOT "heavy duty". Covers are much too thin & weak. Also, I purchased two of these 1.5" notebooks and one has the 3-ring holder installed upsidedown. Will be returning it to the store for an exchange - for another binder product. These two binders were part of a 6 binder online order, all Avery, and all advertised as "Heavy Duty". A...
