VERY DISAPPOINTED
If you are looking for a mat that will have a stable surface over a deep pile carpet, I highly suggest that you look somewhere else because after much time studying the catalog Staples offers, this was the best I could identify and it is inadequate.

Product just OK, delivery sucks
The mat was delivered rolled up. The Staples salesperson told us it would be delivered flat. The adhesive used by the tape used to roll up the mat and the shipping list was extremely difficult to remove, even using alcohol to loosen it. Works but not for super plush carpet
I thought I had bought the right one for our carpet, but found out our carpet is thick and plush and this chair mat sinks down into the carpet when sitting and then has dips to try to roll out of.

Chair mat
Previous chair mat was perhaps hard plastic and cracked under pressure of chair wheels. New mat is more rubberized and has some flexibility which should allow it to last longer.

Floor mat crumpled when received.
The mat came in crumpled up. I see another review that looks like the way mine came in. If it was packaged between two pieces of cardboard like others I have purchased from another place it wouldn't look like this. Very disappointed.
