VERY DISAPPOINTED
If you are looking for a mat that will have a stable surface over a deep pile carpet, I highly suggest that you look somewhere else because after much time studying the catalog Staples offers, this was the best I could identify and it is inadequate.

The right size and the right thickness
This replacement for my old cracked mat is perfect. The size fits my desk and the space is provided for my chair is all that I need. It is sturdy and the small spikes hold it down on the carpet. It is all that I expected.

New Chair mat
This chair mat is a big improvement over the one I had that folded in half…..the wheels move freer and and though on a medium pile rug, still works well. It also is lower on the edges so that if a wheel goes off the mat it comes back on much easier. The price was about $55.00 and not the most expensive one, so if it lasts well it’ll have been a great choice.

Quality seems quite low. Chair immediately creates deep indentations and you are stuck in the ruts.
