Halogen lite bulb
Works well in our desk lamp w/variable dimming; can generate a lot of heat (wasted energy?) which is nice on a col morning. Says not to leave fingerprints on bulb prior to use--a nuisance.

I needed this bulb for a rather old desk lamp. It is the first time the bulb had to be replaced in twenty years. So I was very happy the bulb could be replaced in the first place. Halogen Bulb GE 100 Watt T-3 Double Ended
The last one worked for 4 ½ years so I am expecting the same great light from this one. Staples Santa Fe Store Manager ordered it for me online as they were out of it at the store and I got it the next day. Works great.
