Love my Sharp EL-1197PIII
I have used one for many years. Now I work part time and the office just moved to a different place where I have my own desk. Bought the new one for at home and took the old one to the office. I just don't like the little hand calculators, and am happy to have the same one to use at both places.

Sharp EL-1197PIII 12-digit desktop calculator
Ordered this same calculator on 8/31/2024 no problem. This calculator has a detachable power cord, but the cord has slits in it as if it is cut. Not the same cord as previous calculator purchased. Cord is much thicker and not detachable. See attached pictures.

Does a Great Job!
Used this calculator model for a very long time - all the way back when you could add up twelve columnar journals on one model which I used for yours before we had computers. Life is good now. Love it!

Sharp EL-1197PIII 12 digit desktop calculator
This is the second or third Sharp calculator we have purchased. I go through calculators about every 2-3 years as I am a heavy user. The keyboard is very easy to use and the function keys are well placed. It also seem quieter that my last one.

Very Nice!
I had a Sharp QS-2760 for years and I could not read the number output. I replaced it with this one and it is wonderful! The keys are exactly in the same place and very comfortable to use.

Top Shelf Desktop Calculator
I have been in the market for a smaller desktop calculator that could handle top speed for more efficiency and I have found it in this model. The keys are soft to the touch and do not stick as I have found in other brands such as the Victor I recently purchased and returned. I am very pleased with this product and would highly recommend it for fast paced usage.

Reliable. A real work horse in the workplace and at home.
I have used this model since 2011. I had to replace one due to spilling coffee in it, but it is a real work horse. I supervise 8 apartment complexes and with new managers, I always tell them to get this calculator. The one I just purchased will be for traveling. I get frustrated if I am in another office and there is not a good calculator, so I take mine.

Sharp Desk Top Calculator with tape
I like it very much. I like having a paper trail of keeping track of my bank account.
Years ago, I worked for a large company and we had to record employee wages, federal taxes, state taxes, and social security deductions. Paper trail was required.
