Love my Sharp EL-1197PIII
I have used one for many years. Now I work part time and the office just moved to a different place where I have my own desk. Bought the new one for at home and took the old one to the office. I just don't like the little hand calculators, and am happy to have the same one to use at both places.

Sharp EL-1197PIII 12-digit desktop calculator
Ordered this same calculator on 8/31/2024 no problem. This calculator has a detachable power cord, but the cord has slits in it as if it is cut. Not the same cord as previous calculator purchased. Cord is much thicker and not detachable. See attached pictures.

Not impressed!!
I bought this for staff to use for general calculations while working from home.This calculator is not 'quality' by any means. Granted, it was not expensive but after trying for a few days for basic functions, we have deemed it over-priced. Has a very cheap feel/sound when performing calculations. Hard to get used to
I like this calculator--the size, the buttons, the print are all wonderful, but I'm having a hard time getting used to it when I total up things or try to clear it. Maybe there's a learning curve.

Great calculator
Thank you for still manufacturing this model. My previous one, bought around 1980 finally gave up. The replacement is just what I wanted.

Would Recommend
Perfect for office use. Prefer ribbon ink calculators and this one is also quiet so that is a plus. I ordered a second one to have when working from home.
