HP 15X Black Toner Cartridge Review
A very good product, but is way overpriced. Toner should really come down in price.

Better than low yield, but still pricey
I bought the printer for a couple hundred bucks, and the new toner cartridges are so expensive it's like I pay for a whole new printer every couple months.

It makes crisp black prints
Too soon to tell if the yield is as advertised. I cringe every time I spend soooo much for such an apparently simple device.

Disappointing yields and it leaks......
I have used Staples 15 cartridges (before they quite making them) and HP 15. Thia is my first 15X use. I was disappointed by how quickly (5 weeks) it ran out -- I had increased usage but not to that extent. I think I should have had another 1000 pages to go. When i tried shaking it slightly to redistribute remaining powder, it leaked all over -- the other 15's didnt do ...

cost is somewhat prohibitive
The 15X is far superior to the 15A standard cartridge regarding printing output. However, the cost of the 15X at $95.00+ is high considering new laser printers sell for less than $90.00. I would only recommend the item if I knew someone had an HP1000 laser printer. "Generic" cartridges vs HP name brand cartridges are a better value.

Excellent Products but...
Wish they could make reconditioned ones that were a little less expensive. It's difficult when you are on a TIGHT budget!!!
