Needs work
The furniture is beautiful after being built but the directions and hardware packaging are unacceptable. The screws come all mixed up in several bags and have no marking on them saying which is which. There are photos in the direction that are actual size you are supposed to compare too. Some are silver some are black and no mention of this in the directions. Soem of th...

Very nice for the price.
For a press-board piece of furniture this hutch looks very nice. Directions were very easy to follow and the pieces were clearly marked and easy to assemble. Minus 1 star for placement of the cabinet door handles on the bottom of the door instead of the side and one shelve had a small tear in the veneer but easily fixed with a dab of glue.

Bush Sumerset Maple Hutch
I have 72 x72 L shaped desk and I put two of these one standing across each table, I cut one of them down so it is just underneath the other to form a L also I used shelf brackets in the CPU cabinet in the desk for additional paper storage. have a Good Day.

Great product for the money.
This is a very roomy hutch and is beautiful with the desk. The frosted glass is a very nice touch. Great product without breaking your budget. I would definitely recommend it.

Hutch
Bought this hutch to go with the desk. They are both very functional and attractive in our office. A little time consuming to put together but worth the effort. Our agency works from grant funds so we must be sure that we by quality as items must last quite a while. We are a non profit who usually relies on donated furniture but sometimes buying new seem the best option...

Great buy for the $$
My husband & I moved into a new house and with his growing business we decided we needed his & her desks. I stumbled across the sale of receiving this free hutch with the purchase of a Bush desk so we got 2 sets. So far we both love them. My husband is quite handy so he easily assembled them - however it takes time, just be watchful that you are using the correct screws...

Maple Cross desk hutch
Putting together was OK. trying to lift it up onto the desk with the flimsy cardboard backing was impossible! Cardboard backing ripped - actually prefer no backing in home office use. With backing on...there is no place to hold to pick it up.

Nice desk addition
I bought this to go with the L-Shaped desk I bought and I'm very pleased with it. It provides plenty of extra space. Be prepared for the time it takes to assemble, even if you are handy with tools. This takes hours to complete. The only thing I'd change is the back panel which is made of flimsey cardboard. I wish it were made of material that is more sturdy.

Okay quality
The design is attractive, but the back panel is way to flimsy and should be nailed together while laying flat.

Overall good value
I purchased the hutch with the 71" L shaped desk. It took me about 2 hours to build the hutch (after 4 hours on the desk). I then had the muscle building opportunity of lifting the completed hutch onto the desk. I had to get pretty inventive with leverage techniques, but got the hutch on top of the desk without any damage. The minor concern I have is with the fit of the...

drawer braces misdrilled-not wide enough
I think the drawer braaces are drilled on the wrong sides. There is not the proper spaces for the drawer braces to fit into. The drawers are sitting on top of the braces.

Easy to assemble
I found it easy to assemble as long as I used a power drill. It takes at least two people to lift the hutch and attach it to the desk. Again, use a drill for best way to attach it.

Poor construction materials
Poor construction. Assembly easily blew out the sides at the screw holes. Had to request replacements. Still waiting

nice from the ffront
overall very nice. One drawback is the flimsy back panel and that some of the wood (pressed) is not finished on the back so best used against a wall.

Very Nice
It took a a very long time to put it together but it was worth it. If you have a drill to screw in the screws, bring it with you. It helps.

Love, love, love it!
I bought the entire office set (71" desk, hutch, lateral file, and book case), and I am extremely happy with call pieces (I will leave this same review on each one). Wow, I read a couple negative reviews about these pieces, and all I can say is if you want super easy to put together, solid wood, then you're barking up the wrong tree. These are veneered particle board, b...
