I purchased three of these one (1) six shelf 81" high and two (2) five shelf 72" high HON Brigade bookcases to hold my collection of vinyl records books and other materials. I don't know the exact weight limit. However each shelf holds an average of 125 to 150 records which is very heavy. I have multiple shelves full of records and they have posed no problem in s...

Shelves impossible to adjust!
These shelves come assembled and use plastic brackets that are almost impossible to move. Adjusting the shelves requires an extra tool and a lot of muscle. Save your strength and find trusty metal bracket shelves unless you don't need to adjust your shelves. FYI--all of these HON shelves use plastic brackets.

Had to send one of two back because it had dents. Replacement was almost as perfect as the other. We have 5 of these now. Love the part where we don't have to put them together.

solid construction but bends in metal at two shelve levels
Solid construction. However it looks like other items pere placed atop of it during transport. The result. There are bends at the highest shelve and the lowest shelves (shelve locations at time of shipment).Further the paint has chipped off at the bend. HON Brigade Bookcase Black 6-Shelf 81 1/8H
Bookshelf was delivered on time and looked exactly liked it did online. The only pro was that it was delivered fully assembled and we were not aware that it would be but it's all good. We like the shelf.

These shelves come assembled and use plastic brackets that are almost impossible to move. Adjusting the shelves requires an extra tool and a lot of muscle. Save your strength and find trusty metal bracket shelves unless you don't need to adjust your shelves. FYI--all of these HON shelves use plastic brackets.
