Works great! A little pricey but when you need quality, HP is the way to go for this toner cartridge!

Less than the expected number of prints
Bought a new cartridge for a 4,000 page print job, fully expecting the 6,000 page quoted yield to be more than adequate. It started streaking after only 2,500 and was completely done before 3,000.

HP makes good toner carts.
HP toner cartridges are well made and the printing is dense which makes the documents look good.

It should be refillable. A classic case here the printer is cheap but the refills are very expensive.

works well but too expensive
I would love to see a more eco-friendly version of this toner cartridge -- one that could have a part that the user could swap out the used up ink and add new ink. The "machine" part of this lasts far longer than the ink in it. While I use the HP recycling program, this is still not an environmentally sound way of printing.

Flawless Performance
This product has always performed flawlessly. I used a different toner cartridge one time, with less than ideal results. That experience reinforced my appreciation for the HP-10A. We use this toner in printing all our brochures to mail out to several hundred recipients on our mailing list each school term. I also use it in printing lesson outlines for use in the classes...
