Too dry
Not sure if it was the pad or the stamp (purchased elsewhere ) but I had to re-ink very often durine my project.

Good size ink pad
I needed a large size ink pad for my workplace's large circular date stamp. This ink pad gets the job done and quickly dries on paper. It is very light weight. You only need one good hard press tap on the pad to attain a even amount of ink transferred to paper. Price for this product is very reasonable considering the state of the economic inflation.

Felt but not foam.
Unfortunately the stamp pad received was felt not foam. The firm foam allows for better ink coverage plus it stays juicer and lasts longer.

Perfect size but nearly dry ink
I love this size pad for my larger stamps--they all fit. However this pad is apparently old inventory--the date on the package was 2006. I will re-ink and continue to use. It was delivered as promised in two days--I love Staples' responsiveness when so many other merchants aren't stepping up.
