Partially cut paper jams copier
One of the boxes of paper on this order has many previously sliced pieces of paper (slices taken out of the corners and edges appearing professionally done by a machine) in all of the 10 reams. This caused jamming of the copier and a service call to fix the issue.

Survived shipping but not packed adequately
Paper ream got beat up from flopping around in an oversized box without proper packing. Wouldn't inspire me to use staples packing/shipping service. Some corners impacted but hopefully doesn't impact the feed

Paper and Order
the paper is great, but the ordering is deceptive- on line- it said my order was not complete (tho it accepted my credit card) so I ordered the same paper from elsewhere and now have much more paper than I need. I would never order from the staples site again.

Nice and thin. A little expensive.
I am cutting these in half into 8.5x11 sheets to get the right grain direction for bookbinding. I wanted something thinner and lighter so that the books wouldn't be overly thick (thinner paper isn't intrinsically cheaper or worse quality). This serves that purpose well. I don't know his name but the worker at Staples always helps me with finding items and helps me take things off the shelve and into my car. I have herniated discs and am not able to carry heavy items. He even took carried my old printer into the store. He has helped me many times over several years. Great for general work when you need a larger sheet of paper
I only have a desktop printer, so I would seldom use 11x17 paper in it, but I sometimes need larger sheets of paper for design work, mind-mapping and other graphic projects where I'm doing more "old school" tactile and less digital work.
This paper is good quality although at 20lbs, it comes in with a lighter (slightly flimsier) feeling than a 20lb ream of 8.5x11 paper...

Don't order online!
I ordered this paper online and it came folded in an oversized box with little cushioning. So, the ream packaging was barely holding together and some of the sheets were dinged.

Great for my unusual purpose
The oversized copy paper works great as disposable placemats for 3 of our cats who are very messy eaters. I just toss them away at the end of the day. Cheaper than washing plastic placemats!
