NOT ACTUALLY 12" WIDE
I had ordered these to ship calendars that are almost exactly 12" wide. They would have fit if these envelopes were the dimensions specified. When the calendar didn't fit, I pulled out my measuring tape and sure enough, these envelopes actually measure 11.75" wide, NOT 12". Please see the photo I have included in this review. A repeat buyer of this product
Mailing documents, I like the fact that it does not have a metal clasp so it does not damage the documents. I use a PVC, DO NOT BEND tape to seal it.
