retractble is the way to go!!
Loved the retractable Sharpies. they don't seem to dry out nearly as fast as the snap-on cap and so easy to retract when through for even a second. Loved the ease and consistant ink output

I had to return them as they were dry as the Mohave desert.

Good Product
I like these markers. No caps for my students to lose or not properly snap on. This is the first time buying them so I don't have a comment on their life expectancy. I hope the retractable tip will make them last much longer than the capped version. So far so good though.

Best retractable markers
Been using these for years for pricing. We don't have to worry about losing caps and the markers drying out or accidentally writing on our clothing, since the writing point retracts.

Sharpie Fine Point Retractable Permanent Markers
We have always used the Sharpie permanent markers since they're dependable, write a consistently dark line and they last a long time. The only problem we had with them was occasionally the lids not getting back on tightly and drying out a bit. When Sharpie came out with a retractable that problem was solved. Now that is all we buy are the retractable and that has helped...

Great Magic Marker
We use these pins to mark prices. They are great because they don't smug and they write with a very fine line. The tags that go on rings are made of a kind of paper that is difficult to tear off - it is also difficult to find a pen that will not smug - these pens are great.
