Just what I need
There are many different keyboard layouts and the Canon is one that I prefer. The "total" key is on the right-hand side. The machine is quiet and easy to read. Keystroke effort is designed for speed and suitable for my experience level.

We can’t understand why it keeps shutting off if you don’t use it constantly. If you work in the office, you have to keep restarting the adding machine. I took it back, our old one does the same thing.

Not bad, but not the best.

FUNCTIONS ARE A PAIN
I HATE THIS CALCULATOR. THE GRAND TOTAL BUTTON WILL NOT JUST TOTAL WHAT YOU WANT, IT KEEPS ADDING EVERYTHING YOU HAVE EVER PUT IN THE CALCULATOR AS A GRAND TOTAL. I CANNOT GET THE DATE SET. I HAVE READ AND READ THE MANUAL AND THAT IS USELESS.

The product is exactly as pictured. It meets my needs great. Since, I use an adding machine all day at work, I have tried a few others, but always come back to this one.
