VERY DISAPPOINTED
If you are looking for a mat that will have a stable surface over a deep pile carpet, I highly suggest that you look somewhere else because after much time studying the catalog Staples offers, this was the best I could identify and it is inadequate.

Chair mat
The 2 mats were delivered to my door without any packaging or protection. They looked like something I would have purchased in a store, except they were dirty and had stains (perhaps grease or rubber tire marks) on them. After paying $25 for handling (shipping was free) I was very disappointed in the condition they were in when they arrived.

Floor Mat
When we received our mat it was very dirty and was warped on the one edge. We did clean it and put it in the office to use. Not the best quality as other items we have purchased in the past but we made it work. Thank You

Great hard floor mat
This chair mat is working out well so far. It was delivered flat (not rolled), and the decals peeled off easily, so I was able to start using it right away. I can't really tell which side is intended to face the floor, and I wouldn't call either side "tacky" (to prevent slipping), but the mat doesn't move around unless you get off the chair and mat and try to move it ...

Great mat
The mat came upright, no fold or tube to unfurl. It is clear, I can see my wood floor through it. It has absolutely no smell. These were some problems cheaper mats on line have. Very happy with it.

No grip
The mat itself is a good size and decent quality, however the underneath is smooth so keeps moving on the carpet and I'm having to constantly adjust it.

Perfect floor mat
This mat answered everything I have been looking for. It is slightly larger than most of the mats and lies flat, so no rolling off the edges. I am very pleased with it. It was not wrapped which is kind of weird, but once it was in the warm room, the corners flattened out. Price was good as well. Very pleased with this purchase.

TERRIBLE! Week So far not unrolling

Even though this said for hard wood floors I was hoping by buying 2 of these and doubling them up and putting them down on my carpet they would last a while but it's not going to happen. These are very thin and made for hard surfaces only. So I needed to buy a sheet of peg board and put under them
