VERY DISAPPOINTED
If you are looking for a mat that will have a stable surface over a deep pile carpet, I highly suggest that you look somewhere else because after much time studying the catalog Staples offers, this was the best I could identify and it is inadequate.

Worst Product Ever Bought From Stapels
The mat is a pliable plastic which gets easily indented, does not stayin one place andthe edges curl up. After about 9 months of frustration I tossed it in the trash. I am sure Staples would have refunded the purchase price if I had asked, but lifes gets in the way. Usually things from Staples are of a better quality.

Perfect for Desk Chairs
These were the perfect size and worked great for the desk chairs. Flat enough you don't trip on the edges. Big enough you don't roll off them. They did get curled up because I stored them on their edges, but they went flat quickly.

(1) Delivery: The unwrapped, unrolled mat was summarily tossed onto our front porch with a second package on top of it. (2) The instruction tag on the mat says, "Important! Please read before unrolling chair mat." Not only was the mat not rolled up, but the delivery tag covers the instructions! WTH is going on in Ontario, CA? At least it didn't arrive u...

The mat is great, hard enough plastic to not feel cheap for the price. Using a rolling chair on top of them feels smooth and it's protecting the floor.

Shipped unwrapped & filthy.
It came day after I ordered it as promised. It showed up at my doorstep unwrapped. I expected it to come in a tube or something. It was filthy and took some time to clean. I didn't expect I'd have to do that. The matt itself is alright I just wish it were packed more carefully. Not sure I'd order it again.

Mat works fine but arrived dirty
Found the bare mat in front of the garage with a sticker that said "Read instructions before unrolling"! It was very dirty. After wiping with paper towel and two passes front and back with a steam mop, it was fit to use.

Needs grips
One side is smooth and the other textured. The smooth side slips easily and is an accident waiting to happen. I had to apply Velcro strips to hold in place.

Product OK so far
It’s a floor mat. Smooth side down; pebbly side up so chair doesn’t skid. Mat has small bumps on edges that won’t smooth out. Delivery was cheesy because it was just a shipping label on the mat itself. No box, no tube, no wrap. Was not impressed with Staples at all. Mat gets 4 stars; Staples gets 1.
