VERY DISAPPOINTED
If you are looking for a mat that will have a stable surface over a deep pile carpet, I highly suggest that you look somewhere else because after much time studying the catalog Staples offers, this was the best I could identify and it is inadequate.

These come rolled - we had to find a place to open and set boxes of paper on them - still have one we are trying to flatten

Soft Plastic...
This is a soft plastic chair mat that when the chair sits in one position it causes dents. Overall, it's overpriced for what you get. I would not recommend. This needs to be built thicker and stronger for the money.

The Chair Mat is fine. It's the way Staples handled the payment. I paid the amount required with my Easy Rewards, but instead Staples charged my Discover card. Not Happy about that at all. :(

This item should be rolled up !! NOT FOLDED BACK AND FORTH !! I COULD NOT RECOMMEND PURCHASING THIS ITEM IF THAT IS THE WAY THEY SHIP IT.

Perfect for using an office chair on carpeting
It's a nice thick material and a good size. My son uses it in his carpeted office and loves it. Easy to move his chair around and because of the thickness I feel it will last a long time.

bumpy!!!
We have a flat pile carpet, and this carpet mat is way too soft. It dents the chair wheels and makes for a bumpy ride!!! I do not recommend.

Nice Size, Poor Quality
I purchased this Staples brand mat for "flat carpet" in my workplace. The product is too thin and chairs do not roll over it smoothly. Wheels get caught in indentations - very annoying and disappointing! I also bought a smaller 3 x 4 Dimex mat from another vendor and that is heavier and works great.

Too soft to be useful
The mats are so soft that my rolling chair bumps over every gripping tooth on the underside of the mat. Not impressed. I will be returning them.

Plastic under desk chair mat
Works great for under our desk.
Was not happy it did not come in a box or covered in plastic. It was folded in half and dirty on both sides. Awkward to get clean. But once cleaned and folded crease flattened out - works great!
