Recommended toner for the HP LaserJet 1320 Printer
This is the recommended toner for our HP LaserJet 1320 printer, and it is the one I have used since we purchased the printer. It is excellent quality. So long as HP continues to manufacture it, I'll be using it.

Quality of INk has degraded
I have been purchasing this cartridge for well over 5 years and this time it appears that HP is cutting back on the quality of the Ink. After printing only a few pages, the print is already so faded that it seems like the cartridge has been used for over six months or so.

I like the Toner I've used many times when doing tax returns. I get a lot of printing done with one Cartridge. I go through three during tax season Print a lot of detail sheets along with the return.

My HP LaserJet's low-toner light started flashing, indicating it was time to run over to Staples and buy HP 49X Black Toner Cartridge (Q5949X). Depending on finances, I always try to purchase the high yield ("X") as it will last longer. Though it's more money up front, it's cheaper in the long run. And I ALWAYS buy original HP toner, not inferior-quality knock-off toner...

HP TONER 49X GREAT PRODUCT
The toner I purchased from Staples is a great toner because it lasts loner than your normal regular toner. I purchased the toner from Staples since it was on sale and I was able to use my coupons and I never have problems with their products.

I have had my HP Laserjet 1320 for many years. When it runs out of toner I replace it with an HP original 49X cartridge and it works perfect every time! I tried a generic ONCE. The quality was terrible. I also tried a refill service ONCE and it didn't work at all. Buying the HP original product is the best way to go. It costs more, but I make up for it by saving time no...

Not compatible with HP 1320
After three attempts to replace my 2 year old depleted 49X cartridge with three different new (from HP) 49X cartridges I spoke with HP technical support. Technical support said the 49X does not work with the "basic" HP 1320. (Other models maybe OK?) I was told to use the 49A cartridge. I did, and the 49A cartridge works well; just as well as the depleted 49X previously ...

Get great copies and cartridge seems to last a long time. When your printer indicates that it needs a new cartridge, you can take it out and tilt it from side to side, put it back in the printer and it continues to prints!

Longer Lasting Toner
Although the price for the HP49X cartridge is higher than the normal LaserJet refill, I have found that it lasts very well, and represents a saving in dollars as well as trouble. I give this product high marks.

Well, this is the toner for our current printer and since this is the toner for the printer this is what we purchase. I really do not have an opinion on this product since it is what it is. If you want to use this printer, well duh, you need to purchase the correct cartridge.

excellent choice for exc. printer
I have used HP printers in my home office for more than 25 years, and have found them to be durable and productive. Very little that goes wrong bwith them. Cartridge is easily installed and removed. Gives good ink and does not smudge in my experience. The sticker price may appear to be more than budget for some, but there are advertised rebates at times and you get reimbursed when return spent cartridge.
