Great headrest for my Tempur-Pedic TP9000 Chair
I read the negative reviews and debated ordering this for my chair, however I'm so glad I did. I notice that sometimes I don't use it, however when I'm listening in on a conference call and relaxing a bit, the headrest is very comfortable and I'm glad I have it on my chair. When you're sitting in an office chair for 8 hours a day, the neck support is greatly appreciated...

TERRIBLE, HORRIBLE
I agree 100% with Gene C....the headrest is about 2+ inches too much in front of what it should be. I tried different heights, and angles, but no good. Definitely going back -- TempurPedic is giving their brand a bad name but letting companies use like this

This is not really a headrest. It should be advertised as a neck rest. If you try to rest your head on it, it definitely projects too far forward. As a neck rest, it is pretty comfortable though. I'm 5'5" and I have it pushed all the way down and then tilted all the way down as well. If you are shorter than 5'5" this probably won't work for you. I do also have a lumbar ...

Yes it is awkward, unfortunate design. Will stick out enough to make it uncomfortable. Need to add a pillow to get up higher and use as a neck rest. Or modify as others have said. Delivery was quick and as described with extra sets of screws for different models. So I can't know it much further but highly unsatisfying design, only moderately better than having no headre...

Good with alterations

Don't buy this! It sticks so far out from the back of the chair that it's unusable
Should have trusted the reviews about how far the headrest protruded from the chair back so it bends your head downwards.
Otherwise, you'd have to sit so far forward from the back of the seat to keep your head up!

Too upright
Easy to install
But when installed, leaning back made head lean forward, not comfortable
I resolved by stuffing some shims on top held of the back that forced the angle of the headrest back.
Finally got good angle and leaning back was comfortable.
Pain in neck to get right, will see how it lasts.

Perfect addition to a great chair
Tempur-Pedic should really include this as standard with the chair. Really levels up the overall support of the chair.

Functional and comfortable
This will almost force you to correct your posture. And for that reason, it was worth the money. It's nothing spectacular or fancy but it is functional and comfortable.

Not terrible, too far forward
The headrest itself seems very well made and durable and the mesh is comfortable enough. It adjusts up and down but there is no way to adjust it backward or forward. I’m 5’ 9” and I use it on the lowest setting and tilted forward but I wish I could move it backward because it kind of forces my head forward like I’m craning my neck.

A good head rest
My grandson says it pitches forward a bit too much, but supports the curve of his neck. Since it is made of plastic, it cannot be bent.

Significantly improves back support and neck support with my Tempur-Pedic chair
The tempur-pedic chair I have is very comfortable, but it doesn't offer the best back support. It's actually one of the reasons why I rated it 4/5 stars. The headrest is a great add-on if you want to improve your neck and back support.
Very easy to install and it makes a big difference when I'm sitting at my desk for 8 hours a day.

GREAT SUPPORT FOR NECK
I’ve been working from home and purchased a new office chair and this headrest. The headrest was very easy to attach, took less than 5 minutes. It offers great support to my neck when working a full 8 hour day. I would recommend this headrest.

I ignored the negative reviews and bought it. Big mistake. The chair is great. The headrest stinks! There is no way this fits anyone's body.

This headrest is an absolutely perfect addition to the chair. I am at my dest for 10 + hours a day and it is so much easier to maintain proper posture with the headrest. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
