Expiration before used
I found that the cartridge has an expiration date. Because of the expiration date the printer will not work. Brand new cartridge will not work. So if you purchase back up cartridges, they may not work when you go to use them.
HP does not advertise this or notify you about this until it is too late.
It is cheaper to buy a new copier with cartridges than to replace all 6 ...

Had to buy cyan ink to print B&W!
I had been printing in black and white because some of my color cartridges were low. Suddenly, the printer decided that the cyan was too low, and wouldn't even print black and white until I replaced it! Watch out for HP...

I would buy this product again & again
I have a Photosmart C5180 printer and I love the fact that I can replace the ink as each cartridge empties and not replace the whole color cartridge. I feel as though I get more ink for my money that way.

Never have problems with HP cartridges
Use this for photos, letters etc. Just wish it held more ink. HP does make a XL. Just a little to expensive.

Runs out Quickly
Really like how easy it is to replace these, but they run out so quickly and if you are replacing them often enough, it can end up being very expensive
