Expiration before used
I found that the cartridge has an expiration date. Because of the expiration date the printer will not work. Brand new cartridge will not work. So if you purchase back up cartridges, they may not work when you go to use them.
HP does not advertise this or notify you about this until it is too late.
It is cheaper to buy a new copier with cartridges than to replace all 6 ...

why?
i don't understand why i had to replace the color cartridge if i am just using the black ink. my machine would not let me continue printing in black if i didn't replace the color cartridge. it was a pain in the neck because i needed to print out something important and had to make an emergency run to a staples in the evening to do so.

I have used this ink for several years
I purchased both Cyan and Yellow, neither were useable according to printer ink level readings after installing. I ran printer test and diaganosis bothink levels were shown to be out or low after installing new cartridges. this is the first time this has ever happened. All other times I was extremely pleased with the product purchased at Staples in Dunlap, IN.

HP makes great printers and very good ink... but it is annoying to have to pay the high prices for replacement ink.

I have used this product for 5 years
I use my 7300 for making test to give to my Math students.
They enjoy the color exams a whole lot more and seem to do better on the tests
02 is great and inexpensive
