Expiration before used
I found that the cartridge has an expiration date. Because of the expiration date the printer will not work. Brand new cartridge will not work. So if you purchase back up cartridges, they may not work when you go to use them.
HP does not advertise this or notify you about this until it is too late.
It is cheaper to buy a new copier with cartridges than to replace all 6 ...

I would buy this product again
I am happy with this product for the most part. I do think the cost is somewhat high for the use you get from the single cartridge.

Gives great quility prints on photo pape
I do a lot of photo work. This HP Printer ink does not smear and dries quickly. Colors are also very good.

I use cartridges to print pictures and I think the cartridges do not last long enough for the price of them. I do get reward $ for recycling which is good.

I like how simple it is to use and to replace, plus you get a bonus with recycling it.
I do believe the cost is too much especially when you have to replace all 6 cartridges during much usage. It should be a reduced amount if purchased in a greater volume.

My Photosmart says "EXPIRED"!
The moment I put the cartridge in my Photosmart printer I received a message that this cartridge is expired and will not be covered by the HP warranty.I purchased this cartridge at Christmas and it is now only early January.

I used this product for school and my two home business. This product is great at providing sharp tones and colors. The only bad thing about it is that it has a short cartridge life so I constantly have to keep buying.

We've been happy with the ink cartridges and thanks to the recycling program I feel that we're wise about the money spent. I make a lot of cards using family photos and I scrapbook. Color Crisp and Clear But Not Waterproof
The HP Ink Cartridge is very easy to remove and replace but the ink is not waterproof as in some cartridges of costly printers. That is the only drawback to these cartridges.
