Expiration before used
I found that the cartridge has an expiration date. Because of the expiration date the printer will not work. Brand new cartridge will not work. So if you purchase back up cartridges, they may not work when you go to use them.
HP does not advertise this or notify you about this until it is too late.
It is cheaper to buy a new copier with cartridges than to replace all 6 ...

I use color cartridges frequently in copies I make, I have had great results from my HP printer and the cartridges that it uses.

Ink Cartridge fiasco
The printer is the real problem - it won't print if all the color cartridges are not usable, even if printing black & white. Shame on HP.
