Expiration before used
I found that the cartridge has an expiration date. Because of the expiration date the printer will not work. Brand new cartridge will not work. So if you purchase back up cartridges, they may not work when you go to use them.
HP does not advertise this or notify you about this until it is too late.
It is cheaper to buy a new copier with cartridges than to replace all 6 ...

I can always count on HP Ink refills to do a quality job. I would never use any other product.

easy cartridge change
Staples policy of a $3 reward for each empty cartridge is great! Would be better if the empties could be mailed in, instead of bringing them to a store.

I am actually not thrilled with inkjet printers anymore as they use ink so fast that I have spent the equivalent for the ink as when I bought the printer.

Never a problem
With my printer it warns me when any cartridge is getting low but you can continue to print until the cartridge runs out. Then just open the cover remove the empty cartridge and replace it with a new one, ckick continue and you can finush printing.

Okay for the most part
I use the product in both everyday printing and photo printing. For everyday printing I fine the ink works very well and lasts as I would expect.I like the ease of changing the cartridge. I do find that I have to be very careful when printing photos the ink dries slowly and therefore smears easily.

Top quality but low capacity cartridges
Not happy with 10% retail price hike on current capacity cartridges.
Need more capacity for individual color cartridges. We use more of two colors plus black than the other three colors. Combo packs not suitable.

Love ease of product!
Love this printer and it's cartridges except the frequency you have to change cartridges. I wish they lasted longer.

I only rely on HP Cartridges
I use this on my HP Printer for business and have not had a single issue with either the cartridge or printer. This differs from my experience with the previous generations of HP products. I am very satisfied with my purchase.
