Expiration before used
I found that the cartridge has an expiration date. Because of the expiration date the printer will not work. Brand new cartridge will not work. So if you purchase back up cartridges, they may not work when you go to use them.
HP does not advertise this or notify you about this until it is too late.
It is cheaper to buy a new copier with cartridges than to replace all 6 ...

The Ink works for the job it has to do
For [$] this inks seems to run out fast by around 20 25 prints it seems to goes fast and if you need to use it for front and back documents the most you'll get out of this ink is 3 to 4 prints before having to buy more. The only bright side is the bule comes out nice on printed documents, prints using glossy or phot paper or prints in general

I will buy this product again and again.
I make alot of greeting cards, and I am amazed how long the cartridges last. They have never smeared - the colors are vibrant. Any copies I make of photos are very professional looking. I will never look for a cheap substitute. Turning in empty cartridges for [$] is a good incentive for shopping at Staples.

Individual cartridges for the different colors means replacing only the ink (colors) you use verse replacing a full multi-color cartridge when any of the colors run out.

Printer great but cartrdge cost too high
Easy to change.
Expensive. Cartridges don't last long. The annual cost of replacements cost more than the original cost of the printer!
