Expiration before used
I found that the cartridge has an expiration date. Because of the expiration date the printer will not work. Brand new cartridge will not work. So if you purchase back up cartridges, they may not work when you go to use them.
HP does not advertise this or notify you about this until it is too late.
It is cheaper to buy a new copier with cartridges than to replace all 6 ...

ink capacity in doubt
This new cartridge registered only 3/4 full in my printer. Two weeks later purchased another of a different color and it registered full.

Printer eats Cyan up!
This is a great printer but the ink is way too expensive and runs out quickly especially the Cyan. Even buying the multipacks isn't helping. I have tons of light cyan (i.e. light blue) and light magenta (i.e. pink) piling up from the multipacks but the Cyan doesn't even make it through the 150 pages claimed by HP.

Produce simple to use and recycleable
I publish several church booklets with color pages. I'm also into genealogy, so clear, sharp colored pictures are a must...this product produces a perfect copy and picture.

An expensive blue. Deepens black.
This just disappears too quickly. It is very expensive. HP seems to use the Cyan to deepen its black ink documents. It just gets used up too too quickly. I believe the printer is really meant for photos. I use it for documents.
