I had to return the cartridge as the organization for which I had purchased it found one. So I can say the process of getting it and returning it was easy.

How can this happen?
The metal rod that is in the middle of the drum on the bottom was missing on the new drum I purchased from Staples. I had to take the rod off the old drum and put it on the new drum. I should not have had to do this, especially with the cost of the new drum.

Becoming hard to find cartridges for my very reliable Brother all-in-one
Luckily I located one in stock at a Staples 21 miles from my home. When I drove up to get it, It rang up at $146.97, way more at the store than the on line pricing. The clerk asked me to show the price to her which I did on my phone, at which point she reduced the price to the on line price of $111.97. I don't understand why retailers have to harpoon their custom...

Had to modify
Cartridge worked fine after we modified it to fit in the drum tray. The two back feet on the cartridge needed to be filed down to make it fit snugly in its tray. Should never have to force cartridge in to the tray.

Brand name toner cartridge
I paid the extra $$ for a brand name cartridge after my clone market cartridge failed to deliver. I was ready to trash the printer for impossibly light print (almost unreadable). Don't like the cost, but cheaper than a new printer.

So far OK. It installed easy enough. It looks good
