How can this happen?
The metal rod that is in the middle of the drum on the bottom was missing on the new drum I purchased from Staples. I had to take the rod off the old drum and put it on the new drum. I should not have had to do this especially with the cost of the new drum.

Prompt home delivery to the correct address. Quality product. Sticker shock on the much higher price since last purchase. And on other items in Staples. The US cannot control inflation if retailers use it as an excuse to raise prices without regard to their customers and don’t negotiate with vendors to control costs.

Becoming hard to find cartridges for my very reliable Brother all-in-one
Luckily I located one in stock at a Staples 21 miles from my home. When I drove up to get it It rang up at $146.97 way more at the store than the on line pricing. The clerk asked me to show the price to her which I did on my phone at which point she reduced the price to the on line price of $111.97. I don't understand why retailers have to harpoon their custom...

Drum unit did not improve print quality
I don't know how good this Brother DR-520 Drum Unit it. I bought it expecting the print quality of my printer to improve but the quality did not change at all. I am therefore looking to buy a new printer because my current printer is at least 10 years old.

The brother HL-5250DN is a great laser printer and this larger quantity toner cartridge is a perfect extension of it’s performance. Coupled with the great Staples service I couldn’t be happier. I would recommend the printer toner and Staples to anyone who would ask my opinion. Keith

Had to modify
Cartridge worked fine after we modified it to fit in the drum tray. The two back feet on the cartridge needed to be filed down to make it fit snugly in its tray. Should never have to force cartridge in to the tray.

DR-520 DRUM UNIT
I would have given it a better rating if the cost was lower. There is no reason a drum unit for a Brother printer should be so expensive it was over $200.00 add little more and you can buy a new printer with a cheaper priced drum unit.

Brother TN 550
So glad Staples still carry this item. My printer is really old but a very good one and I am not planning to replace it yet. Therefore to have the TN550 still available is a plus. It is a very good product and met all my needs. Hopefully this will not be discontinued anytime soon. Thank you very much.
