Lead not dark enough for me.
This set of mechanicals pencils lead is not as dark as I need it to be. I am returning to the store. I am disappointed.

Got them for grandkids. They love them. The girls are 10 and 12. Like having extra lead and erasers. Like using them as they always have a point unlike wooden pencils. Good purchase.

Good Pencils
I do love using Papermate Mechanical Pencils but can see no reason Staples doesn't carry .9mm leads and the pencils to go with... reasons?I'll continue to purchase the sevens but continue to hope the nines will magically appear.

I like the price of the pencils and the erasers are long... only downside when I use eraser the pressure causes eraser to go back inside pencil it makes it difficult to use. suggestion should be lock clip to stop eraser from being pushed back in

Love the side click
My son begged me to buy him these pencils for math class. It’s not often he asks for school related tools so I took note myself and was impressed. So much neater than lugging around pencils & a sharpener so I too now use them for work. Good job PaperMate!

Disappearing eraser
I’m an artist and I like a mechanical pencil for making my initial sketches because it gives me a continuous sharp point. When I saw this pencil I was excited with the long eraser that could be advanced. But the eraser doesn’t stay out.
