Lead not dark enough for me.
This set of mechanicals pencils lead is not as dark as I need it to be. I am returning to the store. I am disappointed.

nice pencil
This is a great pencil for your junior high child who is writing a lot at school and home. The pencil is comfortable for a child to hold for a lengthy amount of time and the lead lasts a good amount of time.

Paper Mate Mechical Pencil Starter Set -
My daughters both love these mechanical pencils. We buy them often throughout the school year. The erasers are good and pencils work well and are constructed well. The refills are easy to find and are very reasonably priced.

This is the best mechanical pencil I have ever used! The price is low and the quality is VERY high. The lead is dark and smooth-writing. The eraser is excellent and plentiful. The mechanisms to raise and lower the eraser and lead are flawless. Even the pencil's barrel is comfortable to grip and attractive to look at! An all around great product!

Great Pencil
This is the type of pencil I always use. I'm a teacher and I use this pencil all school year. I've been using this type of pencil since college!

More expensive but worth it! These pencils wear well work easily and never run out of eraser. The colors are fun and other lead sizes are available. (.05 & .09) Middle schoolers beware... Great Mechanical Pencil
I bought the Paper Mate Clear Point Mechanical Pencil as part of of a list of materials required for a quilting class I took recently. The pencils worked great and I was pleased the ease of use.

Best Pencil Ever!
The Paper Mate ClearPoint Mechanical pencil is my favorite. It writes smoothly and boldly yet it is easy to erase. Unlike many mechanical pencils it is durable.
