Lead not dark enough for me.
This set of mechanicals pencils lead is not as dark as I need it to be. I am returning to the store. I am disappointed.

Best Pencil Ever!
The Paper Mate ClearPoint Mechanical pencil is my favorite. It writes smoothly and boldly yet it is easy to erase. Unlike many mechanical pencils it is durable. I have a 9 year old son who will only write with this pencil. It's difficult enough to get any written word out of children now adays so the fact that he will with this is GREAT!!

Groovy little pencil!
My husband asked me to pick up some of these after trying one out. We really like the feel of the pencil in our hands feels just like a pen! The twist-up eraser is nice too. Bright fun colors but I would have liked some in black or blue just to have something a little more business'like. I don't know if my local Staples just didn't have them or if Paper Mate just do...

I simply love these pencils
I absolutely love these pencils! Because I write with a heavy hand I need a stronger led than a 5 or 6. The eraser is a bonus too. I like the way you can twist it up to use more. Best mechanical pencil ever!
This pencil writes very well. The lead is held in place securely and never splinters off. It fits comfortably between your fingers because of the thin design and the rubbery surface keeps it from slipping.

The eraser keeps going back into the pencil when you use it. I am constantly having to twist it back down. I tried several of them to make sure it wasn't just a one pencil fluke. It does it on all of them. Other than that the pencil is fine.

Love this mechanical pencil
I love the colors of the pencil ( 2 per package) and the eraser feature. It has a relatively long eraser as mechanical pencils typically have very small erasers which wears down quickly. Best mechanical pencil!
I have used these pencils for several years and have not ever found any better. With an extra large eraser that twists up as needed and a barrel that holds plenty of extra lead it is always the go to pencil for work. And since it comes with replacement eraser and lead I am always prepared. Love all the color options too!

Best Mechanical Pencils
These are the best mechanical pencils I have ever used. For the most part these are the only mechanical pencils i use because I prefer them the most over any other kind. I love how the eraser is longer so it lasts much longer and it is so easy to add more lead into the pencil. Does not cut it!
One of the main reasons for using a pencil is the ability to erase! The eraser will not stay out when used. Because it is a twist up it wants to retract when you use it.
