Lead not dark enough for me.
This set of mechanicals pencils lead is not as dark as I need it to be. I am returning to the store. I am disappointed.

Nice
The Paper Mate Clearpoint Mechanical Pencils work very well. They write very nice and smooth. The price was a bit high for me but my son begged. You also get extra lead and erasers so all that he has to do is not lose the pencil and we will be square.

The perfect Touch for the CAR!
Ever needed to jot a note in the car.... These are perfect for hot or cold weather. Not bothered by boiling or freezing (unlike me). Fine point so they do not need sharpening. And they are No. 2 so they are easy to read.

Great pencils
The mechanical pencils had strong lead for the children to use on homework which I have given them prior to the school year. The lead will not constantly “pop” as I have experienced with other mechanical pencils. Therefore there is value with this purchase. Plus I was able to purchase the item on sale!

Do not buy
They have to be held a certain way to erase something. They are not comfortable to write with. I threw them away after 1 use.

The lead is strong it does not break easily and has a rich and vibrant look when used to write with. I most certainly would recommend this product to the other teachers in the classroom.

Papermate mechanical pencils #2 medium 3 pack starter
Truthfully I was a disappointed. The lead is more like a fine pt which I do not care for. When it said medium point I was very happy but when I used it for the first time it does not work for my penmanship nor for my eyesight. What do you suggest?
