I guess cartridge already ran out of ink, at least that what printer indicates, with little usage. First time using this product and will not recommend based on this experience, waste of funds.

hp 97 remanufactured ink cartridge
The price was right but. I've had problems with the Staples’ remanufactured HP96 black cartridges failing within a months’ time. Have gone through 2 of them now. Hopefully the HP97 color cartridge will be better. I can say Staples has a very good guarantee program replacing my failed HP96 cartridges without questions.

Buy the Name Brand
I tried this in a Deskjet 6940 along with the Staples 96 black cartridge. They didn't work correctly. The ink was very light, and the colors were off. I thought there was something wrong with the printer, until I replaced these with the HP brand, and the printer is back to working like it should.

Not Good
Put the cartridge in and colors were coming out in pink. Had to return it. I did not want to give it any stars but I had to give it at least one in order to submit this review.

Failed after a short time
I only printed a few pages before my printer refused to work with this cartridge, flashing the "cartridge replacement" light. Put in an HP branded cartridge and it works great.

Worked as expected
These ink cartridges worked as well as the original HP brand and at a fraction of the cost. Not all off brands work but these did. I will be buying replacements from Staples going forward.

Disappointed with Tri-Color

Good Purchase
My HP printer accepted the cartridge and prints fine with no problems whatsoever. This is my third time buying a TRU RED Remanufactured cartridge and I have yet to have any issues. Because of the cost difference between this cartridge and a new HP cartridge, I consider this purchase a no-brainer!

Replacement Cartridges were installed. An error message - "remove cartridges" is received. Once this is done and the print command is activated printing happens

Works as well as the name brand
I frequently print in color when requested by learners who are very visual. It can be very expensive. I found these inks to be just as true as the name brand and I had no issues with compatability.

Hit or Miss
I go through a good amount of these cartridges. Some last awhile, others only last a day or so before my printer thinks they're out of ink and refuses to print using them. But for the difference in price over the non-manufactured, name-brand cartridges, I'll keep ordering them and take my chances.

Good alternative to HP ink
These cartridges work for the most part. We order about 10 per month and usually out of those 10, we have 1 that is a dud.
