very good document protection box
This is a very good document protection box. Not much of a locking safe, but great for organizing and protecting your valuable documents. Supports hanging folders.

Product fell apart
Upon opening the unit the insulated top fell backward and disengaged from the base. The unit was ruined. I contact Sentry and after an exchange of necessary information they have shipped a new unit to me, no charge.

Thought there might be handles for easier pick up but still glad I bought this safe. It will be easier to store papers in than the smaller front open safe I have presently.

Plastic latch to close broken
I'm shocked a safe company would use cheep plastic to close and lock the safe on the lid. Logically this is not fire proof material, easily broken into, and the plastic piece was broken out of the box. I don't believe this safe would be secured for these reasons, so I don't recommend it.

Perfect safe for valuable document storage
The sentry safe is perfect for keeping valuable documents in a fireproof/waterproof unit that isn't too large and not too heavy to pick up and move wherever.

Exactly What I Needed
The shipment arrived on time and well-packaged. The safe is easy to open and close. Following the quick advice given by the manufacturer, there will be no problem with contents being affected by humidity some people reported.

Sentry Safe review
Safe is perfect size for my purposes. However it is heavier than 39 pounds. Would be a lot easier to move around if it had a handle on top or a handle on each side. I would recommend this product to a male. Might be too heavy for a female to handle without hurting themselves.

A great little safe that gets the job done
We purchased this as an addition for separate usage. It is water & fireproof. A great size & good for many things. It was extremely easy to use website & checkout. Delivery was super fast.

I bought this safe after breaking the key off in a competitive brand. The key shown in the picture is a barrel type key (not easily broken). What the unit comes with is a typical flat key. So the reason I chose it was negated. The safe itself seems too tight to put in hanging files. the do not slide easily. I guess it will do the job. I paid more than the competitiv...

Not sure I will keep it
This was a replacement for a previously-purchased safe from Sentri-safe whose locking mechanism broke and the plastic encasement of the lock was not replaceable. I don't have faith that this safe's plastic frame and locking mechanism will do what I need. I will return.

Just about the right size
This little safe is nice and compact. Enough room for the most important papers. It could be just a hair wider as hanging file folders just barely fit. They are snug without a breath of room to spare between the folder and the side of the safe. Other than that, I really like it.
