Display shows printhead problem.
Tried cleaning and remounting-did not repair. Ordered replacement and installed; which restored printer to normal printing.

HP 88 print head life span
The one negative thing about this print head is it has a life span of only 18 to 24 months before it stopes working. This goes for both print heads

HP printhead replacement
Print head worked great and helped revive my HP L7780. I also used a syringe and cleaning fluid to clean the ink lines. Printer works like a champ again.

Fixed Printer Problem
The print heads have a future date and were a direct replacement for my 7 year old printer. The printer now works like it is new.
