Dissapointing
These radios work fairly well with the exception of the call alert "feature" that produces the most annoying alert sounds that CAN NOT be disabled. Consequently, if the botton is accidental touched, all the radios produce the most irritating sounds sending my security scrambling. Good Enough
These radios get the job done, however, they are not very long lasting and there are some quirks with the channels and settings.

Doesn't have the range it claims
I purchased the LXT 600 VP3 which claimed up to #0 mile range but I couldn't even get 5. My husband and I tried everything and different channels and conditions with no luck. I do like the walkie talkie but it will be used for close communications.

Radios work well on our construction site
We bought these for a school renovation project because the cell service inside the building is not good. They work well but are subject to a lot of bleed through from the surrounding neighborhood. What I wanted had been discontinued

It states that the radio will reach up to 30 mike but it won't reach two miles in the city.
