Worth it
Great for the price, we are in a storage facility made entirely of cement, and metal. Very clear sounds through out the whole warehouse despite how many walls and obstructions. Outside of the facility, in the city with lots of buildings, trees and cars, it will reach about a mile or mile in a half but I'm sure out in the open it would do a lot better without the interfe...

Poor construction
Talk button broke immediately-- goes on and off w/o being touched. Too much trouble to seek replacement.

midland walkie talkie
The walkie talkies were advertised as being able to communicate up to 38 miles. In the best weather conditions on flat geographic landscape, the radios BARELY reached 2 miles. VERY disappointed in the product.

Great radios for event coordination communications

Used at a school
We purchased these to use at our Middle School facility. They are very clear and you can understand what is being said on them. They have solved our communication problem and allowed us to reach each other anywhere in our 2 story concrete building. The batteries seem to be lasting very well also. Haven't had them real long but are pleased so far.

The battery life is short. Also have a bunch of foolish stuff that makes it hard to understand how to run them.

Doesn't perform as advertised
The devices were supposed to have a range of 30 miles, but that is not accurate. We don't get reception within 15 miles. The product doesn't perform as advertised.
