A Gift
I bought 3 of these for my sister for Christmas. She writes a lot and this is her favorite journal. She was thrilled. They are real leather they don't fall apart or fray they are her perfect size that fits into her bag.

Leather cover nice lined paper
I bought this as a gift so my insight into its pros and cons are limited. It was what I was looking for to go with a nice fountain pen for journaling etc. The recipient seems to like it and it was reasonably priced.

Not Markings
I ordered this journal because it was the only place where I saw a Markings journal listed. I was disappointed when I opened the box to discover that it is instead a CR Gibson Signature journal. Not the same quality. The pages don't lie flat the paper is different and it's just a different experience writing in it. I won't buy it again.

Looks good
Looks well made though not the best quality leather. Think of like a leather belt you might get from Levi's or something: smooth thick but stiff as a board. Should soften as it breaks in though

Handy journal
Nice size well constructed - pages are not just glued into the binding. Small pocket in the back cover to store cards or other notes. Paper is good quality. Has a nice elastic band to keep the binding closed to prevent the pages from being subject to accidental damage.
