Very strong and durable but a bit pricey
I was able to use these envelopes to mail rather large binders. However if they were to be used to mail products that might require cushioning to protect them they would not be good. I believe the high price[$] per envelope is based on the fact that they are cushioned. For my purpose if I had found uncushioned envelopes for a lower price I would have done better.

Yes. This is just what I needed!
Used them to mail some odd shaped craft items to the grandchildren. Just slide them in and wrap the excess over and tape it closed - the post office just measures charges and sends! The cushion protects the items very well!

Great for mailing gifts
Usually I try to get one of these at a time but then I realized that I send gifts to my relatives a few times a year so I bought the 8 pack. Good choice.

Nice size… very sturdy
This was MUCH thicker than I thought and held an envelope of small books and documents and an entire Graduation cap and gown with room to spare! Awesomeness
