Don't know yet
Too early to rate this product. We have bought other similar items over the past several years and they all eventually crack and become unusable over time. The folding feature is good and bad - it makes it a lot easier to carry folding the spikes inward but the crease where it folds is a little difficult to get to lay flat. I'll know better in about four or five year...

Weak
The vinyl mat was developing dips from the wheels of the desk chair. The mat was placed on low-pile carpeting. I returned this mat and decided to go with polycarbonate which is supposed to be stronger.

Overpriced
We bought this to replace one that we bought 5 years ago that just fell apart. This doesn't seem any different but seems like it cost twice as much!

They fit the areas we wanted to cover just right. I hope they hold up for a few years as the other one we had did not. Only timr will tell.

VERY THIN -- DENTS BADLY
This was a disappointment since it is extremely thin quality chair mat. The wheels on my office chair dent this low quality chair mat very badly.

Barley made it 4 months
Chair mat being used on berber carpet. It is a very soft material. Started cracking down the middle around 4 months. Its 75% cracked through now. It's not the chair mat of old that lasted 15 yrs.

Chair Doesn't Roll
The mat isn't hard enough for either of my chairs to roll. Not much better than fighting with the carpeting.

Excellent Just What I needed!
Love this item. As my office is small and carpeted I have to utilize all the available space. My office chair was not rolling on the carpet and I saw this floor mat. Best decision I made. It came folded and I was able to place it under my desk and then press it down to fit. I would recommend this product!

Staples Carpet Chair Mat 36 x 48
The mat was very reasonably priced. It fits perfectly in my home office. I wish I had purchased this when I purchased my new Office Chair from Staples; it would have been nice to have had purchased it as a discounted package with the new chair. The Staple's associate; who helped me was outstanding in answering my questions!!
