too soft
I went to the store and picked the thickest mat they sold (this one). Still too soft. It's leaving dents that you really need to push out of.

It dents in and I can't roll
Highway 225 and my desk chair has normal wheels and the mat ends up denting in so that the wheels are stuck in four different dented holes and it makes it tough to roll around. Might be okay for somebody light but if you're a bigger guy then I would get a different one

Dimpled by my chair’s casters
The mat is over a rug, and the office chair on the mat creates dimples in the mat whenever I sit on it for a period of time. I spent a lot of money for this Matt because it said it was suitable for working on carpet.

This mat is NOT good for carpet use, it creates so much static. Use a glass or tempered glass type

Not for piled carpet
It’s not a poor quality item, it’s just not right for a carpet with much of a pile. Maybe a very tight pile or hardwood or a more industrial carpet. Chair wheels sink in and make a divot, making it hard to move. In a bedroom with typical bedroom like carpet, it wasn’t working.
